The NQR addresses the Greek construction workforce needs and skill gaps and proposes strategic measures and actions to strengthen the continuing training and qualification of on‐site building workers, craftsmen and systems installers in Greece. The NQR was developed by the BUS‐GR project and received endorsement from 44 major stakeholders.

Invitation to participate in the pilot training programs for professionals

The BUILD UP Skills UPSWING pilot technical training programs, related to Energy Saving and Energy Efficiency, for the technical professions in the building industry, are initiated.

Successful implementation of the "Train the Trainers" programmes

The "Train the Trainers" programmes for the pilot training schemes of the aluminium and metal constructors and the installers/maintainers of burners have been successfully implemented. The 3-day seminars were conducted in 29-30/ 09 and 01/10 in the certified premises of INE-GSEE. The training days also included 5 hours of practical training.

Updated occupational profiles

The updated occupational profiles of the Greek insulation technicians, aluminium and metal constructors and installers - maintainers of burners now incorporate knowledge and skills with regard to Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Sources.
